Shocker! Usyk Destroys Anthony Joshua

The fight just ended, and I’m not sure if what I just witnessed was real. The unified cruiserweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk, who’s the smaller man, just walked down the unified heavyweight champion of the world, Anthony Joshua, and absolutely destroyed him in every which way.

Every individual in Tottenham stadium, alongside every viewer worldwide, just witnessed one of the most one-sided heavyweight championship fights in history.

The way in which Usyk stepped up to the plate and dared to be great made us wonder if Joshua even belonged in the ring with Usyk from a skillset standpoint.

Usyk’s gameplan was impeccable, executed marvellously by the newly crowned heavyweight king, and in the first second of the fight, Usyk did what few could ever dare to do.

The smaller man(Usyk) surged into the center of the ring and held his ground, then wasted no time, not to earn his respect but take it by landing a darting left hand on the bigger man to then just suffocate him with his mental pressure, which eventually produced the physical pressure AJ was suffering.

Usyk dominated the fight in every which way. However, you got to respect Anthony Joshua for always trying to find a way to stop the Ukrainian in his tracks, but the skill difference was just too vast.

Usyk looked like a ghost tonight with the way Joshua was missing for almost 12 rounds. The angles, feints and most importantly, guts showed for glory was something to behold.

The most fascinating part about tonight’s fight is that the slick boxer(Usyk) actually looked like the bigger, more dangerous puncher.

Even though Joshua landed some significant power punches to the body, Usyk never seemed phased. However, whenever Usyk landed, Joshua seemed like he was a second away from going down.

Shockingly, all three judges at ringside gave Usyk the fight, and one of them even gave Usyk a 10-8 round. However, there was no way controversy was taking the night off…

In the twelfth round, Usyk stunned Joshua bad, and AJ looked out on his feet in the last 10 seconds of the fight, and even though there were ten more seconds left for the fight to end, the bell rang nine seconds before the round ended. The sport of boxing never seems to disappoint when it comes to corruption…

That’s neither here nor there. All that matters is that the rightful winner(Usyk) got his hand raised at the end of the night.

When it comes to the former heavyweight champion(Joshua), all you can do is give your admiration and love for AJ because he defines what you call a true champion inside and outside the squared circle. He’ll be back.

What a fight, what a performance, what a night, it’s Usyk’s night, he earned it, and you know what else he earned? The title of the greatest, gutsiest cruiserweight of all time. And who knows, he might be on route for heavyweight immortality as well. So Ukraine, stand up; you have an all-time great raising your flag.
