Jake Paul joins forces with pound-for-pound boxing champ Amanda Serrano

Jake Paul

Puerto Rico is the setting for Jake Paul’s training camp for his upcoming fight against Tyron Woodley. As Paul gears up to display a showcase of a lifetime, it was only fitting for him to bring Puerto Rico’s finest, pound-for-pound boxing star, Amanda Serrano.

Many ponder about Paul’s dedication to the sport of boxing due to his outlandish lifestyle outside the squared circle, but make no mistake, with Paul’s decorated lineup of sparring partners, coaching staff and mentors, it’s clear as day that he’s operating on an elite level when it comes to preparation.

The casual fans might not know Bj Flores(Paul’s head coach) and his extensive amateur and professional pedigree in the sport. The same goes for his sparring partner, J Leon Love and many others.

Interestingly, Paul’s team choice consists of fairly unknown boxers who are as skilled as any other professional when they were active.

That shows that Paul isn’t looking for headlines to join forces with any famous camp like Eddy Reynoso’s team or even California’s Robert Garcia’s.

Instead, Paul handpicked individuals with expertise in every aspect of the sport, from the slick boxers to the power punchers to even the mental training advocates. And so far, the results speak for themselves.

As the fight looms, another member of team Paul was revealed, and its the only female and Puerto Rican, to win world titles in more than four weight classes, and holds the Guinness world record for the most boxing world championships won in different weight classes by a female, having held 9 major world titles across seven different weight classes, she’s non-other than the baddest female on the planet, oh and she’s renowned as the hardest hitter in female boxing history, Amanda Serrano.

When asked about training with Paul, nothing but validation was given by the champ Amanda Serrano and here’s what she had to say:
“This kid is hungry; he has power, determination and Jake’s doing everything a boxer should do to become great, and that’s precisely what he’s doing.”

The element of surprise is a vital essence in war. So as Jake Paul continues with his career’s trajectory, one of his main advantages coming into any fight is him being underestimated by the combat veterans he’s picking. However, if they start listening to champions like Amanda Serrano, they should recognize that the “Youtuber” can fight.

Can’t help but give credit to Paul’s team with their genius matchmaking. Paul started his career against a fellow Youtuber, then transitioned to fighting an athlete that can’t fight, then fought a wrestler that can’t punch, and now Paul’s fighting a wrestler that can punch however is past his best days by a longshot, and his(Woodley) last four performances support my claim.

Currently, Woodley is pushing 40 years old, riding a four-fight losing streak without winning a single round in his last 16.

Yes, Woodley is a certified legend in the sport. He(Woodley) had his glory run of claiming gold and supremacy, but just like anything in life, nothing lasts forever.

With Woodley’s career trajectory, unfortunately, it’s clear that he’s still chasing that ferocious fighting spirit he once had, but he won’t come to the realization that the ship sailed a long time ago.

Fighting is a young man’s game that revolves around confidence and momentum, and Woodley doesn’t have any of the attributes listed, unlike Paul, who has it all.

Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley goes down Sunday, August 29, live on Showtime pay-per-view. Also, unified boxing champion Amanda Serrano takes the co-main event slot as she clashes against fellow champion Yamileth Mercado.
